Digital Oxford Week: Our highlights

Digital Oxford

Digital Oxford Week has taken place for the last few years, and we’re back again next week starting the 11th May.

We started Digital Oxford Week to draw attention to the diverse range of digital talent here in Oxfordshire. The aim is to showcase our regular meetups and offer a chance for people to attend specially curated events.

This year we have something happening every day: talks, activities, research projects, technical demonstrations, creative meetups, startup sessions and a project management conference.

Here are a few highlights of the Week.  You can see the full lineup of what’s happening on our Events page.

Glug at the Slug

Glug is coming to Oxford! Jo Lankester and myself are working with Hutchhouse founder Ben Hutchins and Bottle PR Marketing Director Colin Cather to bring Glug to Oxford. Glug is a series of events for the design and creative community, these events are held in over 10 cities across the world and now soon to be Oxford.

The Glug team will be holding a meetup ‘Glug at the Slug’ at the Slug and Lettuce on Tuesday 12th May at 7:30pm. Come and join us for a drink, share ideas or suggest speakers for future events “More Notworking than Networking.™”

The Big DO

The Big Do is the brainchild of a group of digital project managers here at White October. The conference will be an interactive day of workshops, discussions and talks held on Friday 15th May at the Cowley Road Methodist Centre.
