Fidelis commissions online portfolio to launch new insurance model

Insurance and reinsurance provider Fidelis has commissioned White October to design and build its online showcase for innovative underwriting services.


Fidelis has recently entered the insurance market with a model designed to ensure rapid and effective responses to insurance challenges while also optimising shareholder returns. 

Fidelis Group CEO Richard Brindle explained the new approach when Fidelis secured $1.5 billion in equity capital earlier this year:  

“By focusing on either assets or liabilities, legacy insurance models have failed to optimise shareholder returns, and the low returns generated by fixed income investments have been challenging. Fidelis will pursue a total return strategy by tactically shifting capital and risk between insurance and investments to maximise our return on equity across market cycles.

“We hope that others follow this model, as we strongly believe it will be very good for the industry, resulting in more responsible and less volatile underwriting.”

In commissioning the site, Fidelis needed an online presence that would provide brokers and investors a clear point of information and contact, with details about the company, its founders and experienced team of financial services professionals.
